THEY WALK AMONGST US

So I get a msg tonight on the wonderful online dating site from a woman loving my profile asking if her and I can be friends? First problem I found was on her profile she requested no men under 45 msging her, 2nd was she only dated men with degree's, and third her profile and msg to me was one run on sentence that made no sense at all (couldn't tell if she was drunk) using both 2nd and 3rd party reference to herself like she was just plain batshit crazy. So I chose the story telling response of a profile much like hers of a woman claiming to be a teacher who also did not have the common sense to use a shred of punctuation or at least proof read what she wrote to realize her profile made no sense at all. Surprisingly she asked me not to msg her again.

COPY OF HER PROFILE-
My self-summary
Love to laugh and I love club I'm highly driven towards intelligent people I'm tall and will not date you measure the least six but sorry I love to live life and that means drama and reality and he said I have drama you probably are lacking in a pulse
Do not send me a message if you're under 45 years old and do not message me if you not live in Arizona please and also do not message me if you are not interested in her intellectual conversation I'm so sorry but I will only date people have a degree at least

COPY OF MSG TO ME-
  • Which is why it's awesome I put boundaries in there and nobody listens such bullshit yes no one under 45 would not be interested in
  • Sometimes I wonder if you will come on are you such a ridiculous thing don't even talk to me if you don't fit my profile that's a whole point of online dating right

COPY OF MY RESPONSE- I once read a profile similar to yours where the woman was bragging all over the place about being a teacher. All I could think to myself is our world is going to hell if a teacher can't even use simple punctuation or at least read what she wrote to see it made no sense at all.

WHY DATING WILL NEVER BE THE SAME

It's my opinion that like every thing technology has corrupted, dating also has fallen victim as well.  If you look around  (set down the phone moron and use your eyes not Google), you will see a pattern forming.  Thanks to technology making things easier to get movies, music, dates, hook-ups, pictures ect ect there is no longer any long term value placed on things.  I feel it's up to us to put that value into place if we want to beat the odds.  Grand ma and grand pa had to make things work because the only single people back then were single for good reasons.  Remember if it's worth having, it won't be easy.  Remember those words the next time you left swipe someone for stupid reasons, they may be a diamond in the rough.
